New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart conveyed his excitement about working with veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as the team commenced its training camp at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Beckham, who is attempting a comeback after not playing in 2025, joined the Giants, the team where he began his NFL career more than a decade ago.

"I’m definitely excited about ‘O,’" Dart said Wednesday, following the first training camp practice. He acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding any player's return after a significant time off but expressed optimism about Beckham's integration. "I think that his ability to pour into his teammates — and you would think a lot of times when there’s a big comeback that it’s about the individual himself, but he’s really just about the teammates, the guys around him. I’ve loved having him here so far. He’s just a great guy."

Dart highlighted Beckham's leadership qualities, noting his extensive experience in the league. "He’s a great leader. He’s had the ultimate experience of the highs and the lows, and I think that the more that you’re able to communicate with him, get perspectives from him, with him also being, obviously, a really good player, is huge for our team."

Separately, General Manager Joe Schoen recently secured a contract extension, believed to be for four years, indicating his continued partnership with head coach John Harbaugh. Schoen expressed gratitude to the team's ownership and emphasized a focus on building a competitive roster for the upcoming 2026 season.

"Very thankful to the Mara and the Tisch families for the extension,” Schoen stated. “Just grateful and looking forward to the season. Coach and I are going to work together and try to put together the best roster we can and go out and win games. And again, it doesn’t matter how long you have on your contract, it’s always going to be year to year. So, you just go out and do the best we can and try to put the best team on the field for 2026. And I feel like we’ve done that this offseason."
