Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala appeared to collapse during the team's friendly match against RB Leipzig on Saturday. The incident occurred in the 81st minute, shortly after Musiala had scored to put his team up 3-1.

Following the goal, Musiala seemed dazed and confused before falling, and was caught by teammate Ismael Saibari. Medical personnel immediately entered the field to attend to the 23-year-old German star, while other Bayern players gathered around him. Reports from Germany suggest the extreme heat, with temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius, may have been a factor.

After assessment by the medical team, who eventually gave a thumbs-up, Musiala was able to leave the field. Bayern's director of sport, Max Eberl, stated after the match that Musiala was "fine, and that is the most important thing." Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer added that the cause would become clear, but that the team was "keeping our fingers crossed."

Musiala, who participated in the World Cup with Germany, had been substituted into the game in the 69th minute. Bayern ultimately won the friendly 3-1, with goals from Luis Diaz, Nathaniel Brown, and Musiala. The club is preparing for its competitive season opener next weekend in the German Super Cup against Borussia Dortmund.
