Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), founded by boxer Jake Paul, has entered into a broadcasting agreement with TikTok to stream an upcoming championship boxing event live on the platform. The event, headlined by Amanda Serrano against Lucrecia Manzur, is scheduled for August 21 in Temecula, California.

This marks a significant move for combat sports broadcasting, as the entire event, including all six scheduled fights, will be available on TikTok, which has a reported two billion global users. The lineup includes Ashley Felix vs. Jocelyn Camarillo, Salvador Zavala vs. Nelvie Tiafack, Miguelina Hernandez vs. Roxy Verduzco, Cinderella Linnear vs. Jully Poca, and Jahmal Harvey vs. Hammet Keb.

MVP has previously secured broadcast deals with Netflix for major boxing matches and has also aired bouts on ESPN. This initial agreement with TikTok is for a single event, with the possibility of expansion contingent on its success. The promotion aims to challenge traditional boxing models by leveraging new platforms to reach a wider audience.

Jake Paul, a prominent figure on social media with millions of followers on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, stated that MVP's mission from its inception has been to create significant opportunities for fighters and introduce new avenues for fans to engage with the sport globally. This partnership with TikTok aligns with that objective by utilizing a platform with a vast and engaged user base.

While other combat sports entities have explored platforms like YouTube for streaming, such as Dana White's Power Slap in the US and ONE Championship in Asia, this collaboration signifies a notable exclusive commitment of a championship boxing card to a primary social media live-streaming service.
