Jai Arrow marked his 100th South Sydney Rabbitohs game on Friday, September 4, 2026, in an emotional ceremony at Allianz Stadium. The milestone arrived despite Arrow's diagnosis with motor neurone disease (MND) earlier this year.

Navigating the challenge of his illness, the 31-year-old forward was embraced by coach Wayne Bennett as he ran onto the field. The Rabbitohs' rivalry with the Sydney Roosters was set aside for the occasion, with both clubs showing support for Arrow. He was also hugged by his wife, Berina Colakovic, after walking out onto the field.

Arrow, a former Queensland State of Origin representative, was given a guard of honour by over 100 Souths alumni, including members of the 2021 grand final squad. He led his teammates out to a rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone." He lined up for the start of the Round 27 match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Sydney Roosters

Until two weeks prior to the milestone game, Arrow had been on 98 NRL appearances for the club. At Bennett's suggestion, the NRL granted Souths additional interchanges in their recent games against the Gold Coast and the Roosters to facilitate Arrow reaching 100 games. The Sydney Roosters organization, including chairman Nick Politis, has actively supported Arrow's cause and MND awareness efforts, even assisting with some of his travel expenses. Arrow has expressed a determination to confront his illness and raise awareness for others affected by MND, stating his hope to live with the disease for at least ten years.
