Jack Grealish Dropped by Everton for Breach of Club Discipline

Everton midfielder Jack Grealish has been disciplined by the club and left out of the squad for the Carabao Cup match against Newcastle due to a breach of club discipline. The 31-year-old was reportedly absent from a training session without permission.

Grealish was previously listed as being 'ill' for Everton's weekend match against Arsenal. However, it is now understood that the Manchester City loanee has been reprimanded by Everton for an unauthorized absence from training, leading to his exclusion from the team's matchday squad.

The club confirmed Grealish's unavailability on social media, stating, 'Jarrad Branthwaite remains sidelined for a second successive game due to concussion protocols, while Jack Grealish is unavailable for selection due to a breach of Club discipline.'

This season has been a stop-start one for Grealish, who has yet to register a goal or an assist in eight appearances for Everton. He returned to the Merseyside club on loan from Manchester City in the summer, having not featured in their squad last season. During the previous season, Grealish played 22 games for Manchester City, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Tyler Dibling and Tyrique George were deployed on the wings against Newcastle in Grealish's absence.
