Jack Draper has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming US Open due to a persistent bone bruising injury in his left arm. This latest setback means the former British No. 1 will not have participated in any Grand Slam tournaments this year, having also missed Wimbledon due to the same issue.

Draper concluded he required more time to heal after competing in two matches in the United States. The withdrawal comes just hours after world number one Jannik Sinner announced his own absence from the US Open because of a knee injury.
