Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow, currently on the injured list with a back ailment, attended the USA vs. Turkey World Cup game at SoFi Stadium on Thursday alongside his pregnant wife, Meghan.
Glasnow, who has been sidelined since early May, appeared to be in good spirits during the event and was seen walking into the venue with a smile. He did not exhibit any signs of favoring his back.
This outing contrasts with recent comments Glasnow made to reporters, where he described his persistent back issue as "driving me [expletive] crazy." He also revealed a setback in his throwing program due to the injury, a situation he finds very frustrating.
Glasnow was initially injured during a game against the Astros on May 6. He stated that he needs to ensure the symptoms are completely gone before returning to pitching to avoid re-injury.
Another injured Los Angeles Dodgers player, Blake Snell, was also present at the soccer match. Snell, who has been recovering from surgery to remove loose bodies from his pitching elbow in recent weeks, also appeared to be in good spirits.
