The Indiana Fever will look to extend their current win streak to three games when they host the Connecticut Sun on July 22. This matchup marks the final game before the WNBA All-Star break.
The Fever, who lead the league with an average of 94.4 points per game, are set to face the Sun, one of the WNBA's lower-scoring teams. This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. Their previous encounter in June resulted in an 85-75 victory for the Fever.
Indiana is coming off two consecutive wins, including a decisive 108-88 victory over the New York Liberty on Saturday. However, star player Caitlin Clark has been playing under a minutes restriction for the past four games due to a persistent back injury. It is anticipated that this restriction may continue for the game against the Sun.
The Connecticut Sun and Indiana Fever game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. ET on July 22, taking place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The game will be broadcast on USA Network.
For viewers without cable, the game can be streamed via live TV services. DIRECTV's five-day free trial includes access to USA Network. Following the trial, a subscription to the MySports Genre Pack is available for as low as $49.99 per month, offering over 20 live sports channels.
The WNBA All-Star 3-Point Contest is scheduled for Friday, July 24, with the All-Star Game taking place on July 25.
