Indiana Coach Curt Cignetti Tells Fans to 'Don't B**** About a 38-0 Win'

Indiana Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti has sharply criticized fans who have voiced complaints about the team's winning margins, particularly following a recent 38-0 shutout victory over Western Kentucky. The win improved the Hoosiers' season record to 3-0 and extended their overall record under Cignetti to an impressive 30-2.

Despite the dominant performance, some fans expressed dissatisfaction on social media regarding the team's slow start and a scoreless first quarter, which resulted in only a 14-0 lead at halftime. These criticisms did not sit well with the 65-year-old coach.

During a radio appearance on Thursday, Cignetti responded bluntly to the complaints. "What are we, 29-2?" he stated, referencing the team's strong record since he took over. "When I came, I saw the pictures, 10,000 people in the stands. Don't b**** about a 38-0 win."

Cignetti's remarks quickly gained traction on social media, with many users expressing surprise at his unfiltered response. Prior to Cignetti's arrival, the Indiana program had struggled, failing to win a bowl game since the 1991 Copper Bowl and finishing the 2023 season with a 3-9 record under coach Tom Allen. Cignetti is credited with engineering a significant turnaround, leading the team to an 11-2 record in 2024 and an undefeated 16-0 national championship season in 2025. The Hoosiers, currently ranked No. 5, have outscored their opponents 145-16 this season. Despite the team's continued success, including back-to-back shutouts, Cignetti emphasized the need for continued humility as Indiana prepares to begin Big Ten conference play against Northwestern on Friday night.
