Harry Kane Considers NFL Kicking Career After Football

England captain Harry Kane is contemplating a post-football career as a kicker in the National Football League (NFL), expressing serious interest in exploring the possibility.

Kane, who believes he has approximately five to six years remaining in his professional soccer career, sees a transition to NFL kicking as a realistic option. He noted that taking penalties in football shares similarities in pressure and technique with NFL placekicking. If he were to pursue this path, Kane indicated he would dedicate six months to a year to dedicated practice beforehand.

The Bayern Munich striker also mentioned the possibility of playing in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the future, suggesting that the league's season structure might allow him to potentially bridge his soccer commitments with NFL training.

Kane is currently in discussions with Bayern Munich regarding a new contract. He stated that negotiations are progressing positively, with some details yet to be finalized. Kane expressed contentment with his current team, coach, and environment, emphasizing his desire to continue playing at the highest level for as long as possible.

He attributed his recent successful season, described as the best of his career, in part to a strict new diet. Kane highlighted that eliminating unhealthy post-game snacks and maintaining discipline, particularly leading up to and during the World Cup, became a motivating factor that he has carried into the current season.
