Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon was ejected from Tuesday night's game against the Atlanta Dream after a heated exchange with officials. The incident occurred during the Aces' 97-82 loss.

Hammon's frustration stemmed from a perceived foul against star center A'ja Wilson by Dream center Madina Okot that she felt went uncalled. On the subsequent possession, after a missed shot by Angel Reese, Hammon stepped onto the court to confront the referees.

Her actions resulted in an immediate technical foul. Hammon then escalated the confrontation, shouting directly at a referee, which led to a second technical foul and her automatic ejection from the game. Assistant coach Charlene Thomas-Swinson took over coaching duties for the remainder of the match.

The home crowd voiced their disapproval of the officiating with chants of "refs you suck" as Hammon departed the court.

This ejection marks the second of Hammon's five-year tenure as head coach for the Aces, where she has compiled a 121-50 overall record. Hammon did not speak to reporters after the game. Thomas-Swinson addressed the media following the loss.

The defeat dropped the 24-13 Aces to fourth place in the standings, falling behind the Indiana Fever with seven games left in the regular season.
