Great Britain earned two gold medals at the World Track Cycling Championships, winning the women's team pursuit final and the men's scratch race on the second day of competition. The women's quartet of Erin Boothman, Anna Morris, Josie Knight, and Millie Couzens overcame an early deficit to defeat world champions Italy by over five seconds in their final. Matthew Bostock secured the men's scratch race title, holding his lead from the halfway point to claim his first world championship. The men's team pursuit squad, featuring Henry Hobbs, Noah Hobbs, Ethan Vernon, and Ollie Wood, also captured a bronze medal, defeating France in their medal ride-off. Bostock, 29, also contributed to an earlier bronze medal in the team pursuit.
