Goo Goo Dolls to Perform at Buffalo Bills' Thanksgiving Halftime Show
The hometown rock band will take the stage during the Bills' game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Buffalo Bills have announced that hometown rock band the Goo Goo Dolls will perform during the halftime show of their Thanksgiving night game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The concert is scheduled to take place at the newly built Highmark Stadium.
The performance will be held on the Bills Legends Deck, offering a view throughout the stadium. Attendees will also receive PixMob light-up bracelets designed to synchronize with the show, creating interactive lighting effects across the venue.
This Thanksgiving matchup features quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs and Josh Allen of the Bills, who have been involved in several highly anticipated games in recent seasons.
In a September interview, Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik stated his reluctance to lecture audiences about politics during concerts, emphasizing that fans from diverse backgrounds attend shows for the shared enjoyment of music. Rzeznik noted that live music can serve as a common ground during times of division.
The Goo Goo Dolls are not the only musical act scheduled for NFL Thanksgiving games. Rapper Skilla Baby is set to perform at halftime of the Lions-Vikings game, and country artist Miranda Lambert is slated for the Cowboys-Eagles matchup.
