Giants rookie kicker Dominic Zvada is aiming to win the starting job this summer, acknowledging the challenge of earning the trust of a team led by special teams-focused head coach John Harbaugh. Zvada, an undrafted free agent, understands the question of whether the Giants will entrust their kicking duties to a rookie.

"Why should they trust a rookie?" Zvada reportedly mused when presented with the question. He added, "That’s tough, man. I mean, I want to say I would go out there and do everything I can and give everything I can for this team. It’s an honor to play for this team, such a historic franchise."

Zvada is in competition with Ben Sauls for the roster spot. The Giants, known for their attention to special teams under Harbaugh, face a decision regarding their placekicking for the upcoming season. Zvada believes he is ready to make his mark and contribute to the historic franchise.
