In the clip shared on TikTok, Tiafoe mimics Paul's apparent nervousness and overwhelming emotion, including shaking, blinking, covering his face, and shaking his head. Broomfield captioned the post, "A visual reenactment of Tommy when paige walked down the aisle."
Fellow American tennis player Taylor Fritz also offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the wedding festivities. He shared a video on Instagram of Paul, Fritz, Tiafoe, and Reilly Opelka participating in a game of bottle roulette using tennis rackets, an activity marked by laughter and humorous falls.
Paul, 29, and Lorenze, 28, publicly confirmed their relationship in October 2022. The couple announced their engagement in July 2025 via a joint Instagram post, with Paul proposing on a Nantucket beach. They wore matching white outfits for the announcement, captioning it "Forever."
Prior to the wedding, Paul was competing at Wimbledon. He did not discuss wedding details, stating that Lorenze would not attend the tournament regardless of his progress, as she was on a bachelorette trip. Paul exited Wimbledon in the third round after a four-set loss. The couple's nuptials took place shortly before the start of the hard court season, leading up to the U.S. Open.
