Florida vs. Auburn: How to Watch SEC College Football Game
Both undefeated SEC teams face off in a highly anticipated matchup with new head coaches at the helm.
The Florida Gators and Auburn Tigers will meet on Saturday, September 19, at 7:00 p.m. EST in Jordan-Hare Stadium for a college football showdown. Both teams enter the contest with undefeated 2-0 records. ESPN projects Auburn has a slight edge, with a 50.2% chance of winning.
Florida will be led by quarterback Aaron Philo, while Auburn's offense will be spearheaded by Byrum Brown. This season marks the first for both teams under new head coaches. Notably, both programs pursued Jon Sumrall, who ultimately took the head coaching position at Florida.
There had been some speculation that the game might carry a revenge narrative, given that Alex Golesh's USF team defeated Florida last year. However, Florida head coach Jon Sumrall dismissed these notions during a press conference. "I don’t know that that game has anything to do with this game. … It’s not a revenge game," Sumrall stated. "It’s Florida’s players playing against Auburn’s players."
Fans can watch the game on ESPN. Live streaming options include Sling TV, which offers ESPN as part of its Essentials plan starting at $19.99 per month. An upgrade to the Orange plan for $45.99 per month also includes ESPN along with additional channels.
