Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma married his childhood sweetheart Alessia Elefante in a lavish reception in Fasano, southern Italy. Several of Donnarumma's City teammates were present for the ceremony and celebration, including Erling Haaland and Mateo Kovacic.

Haaland, accompanied by his partner Isabel Haugseng Johansen, was seen in a black suit, bow-tie, and sunglasses. He later led other guests in recreating Norway's distinctive "rowing" celebration, a gesture popularized by the team during their recent World Cup campaign. Kovacic, along with his partner Izabel, was also pictured at the event.

Donnarumma, 27, and Elefante, a 28-year-old interior designer, have been in a relationship for 10 years, meeting in their hometown of Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples. The couple welcomed a son, Leo, in 2024 and announced their engagement in May.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Church of Saint George Martyr in Locorotondo, followed by celebrations in Fasano. Haaland appeared to thoroughly enjoy the festivities, observed banging a drum as guests performed the rowing mimicry.
