Following their elimination from the World Cup at the semi-final stage, several members of the England squad took time to enjoy barbecue cuisine. The team lost 2-1 to Argentina in a contentious semi-final match.

England is scheduled to play France in a third-place playoff in Miami on Saturday. Ahead of this fixture, a group of players stopped at Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que, a well-known petrol station eatery in Kansas, where the team has been based.

Players photographed at the establishment included Morgan Rogers, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Dan Burn, Anthony Gordon, and Elliot Anderson. The petrol station shared an image on social media, wishing the players luck for their upcoming match.

Manager Thomas Tuchel acknowledged the difficulty of the third-place game, stating that neither his players nor their French counterparts would prefer to play it over the final. He added that the team would approach the match with professionalism despite having one less day of recovery than France.
