England's WAGs are looking ahead to the World Cup semi-finals in Atlanta following the Three Lions' victory over Norway. Kate Kane, wife of captain Harry Kane, and Megan Pickford, wife of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, took to Instagram to share their excitement after cheering on their husbands in Miami.
Kate Kane posted a photo with her husband, captioning it: "Semi-finals here we come." Harry Kane, seen in a casual England T-shirt, appeared tired but happy as he embraced his wife. Kate wore a red top featuring the captain's name and number.
Megan Pickford, 30, sported a red and white Chanel minidress with white ballet pumps and a matching red handbag. She shared a heartwarming image of her three children, Arlo, Ostara, and Misty, congratulating their father. The children were pictured in football kits with 'Daddy' printed on the back, cheering enthusiastically.
"Another special night this World Cup has a very special feeling," Megan wrote, as her children celebrated their father's success.
England secured their place in the semi-finals after Jude Bellingham scored twice in a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Norway in extra time. The team will now face Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, in Atlanta on Wednesday.
The WAGs were among a large contingent of England supporters who witnessed the win in Miami. The squad faced challenges in the match, with Jarell Quansah absent due to a red card received against Mexico. Jordan Henderson also missed the game after sustaining a suspected broken wrist when he fell awkwardly over an advertising hoarding. He remained in Mexico City while the team returned to their base in Kansas City. Reece James, however, had recovered from a previous knock sufficiently to play. Declan Rice, who had been suffering from a bug, played in the first half before being substituted. Rice has been dealing with hamstring and lower back issues, which were reportedly exacerbated by his illness.
