England Dominates Croatia 7-0 in Nations League Blowout

Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka each scored twice as England overwhelmed Croatia with a 7-0 victory in the Nations League on Saturday. Jude Bellingham and Anthony Gordon also contributed goals, with Morgan Rogers completing the scoring.

Coach Thomas Tuchel described the performance as "very impressive," highlighting the team's fluidity and clinical finishing. "We just kept the pace up and played through the gaps. We were very, very clinical," he said.

Kane opened the scoring in the eighth minute, curling the ball into the top left corner after receiving a pass from Bellingham. Bellingham extended the lead midway through the first half, poking in Gordon's cross. Gordon then scored himself before Saka added England's fourth just before halftime.

In the second half, Kane netted his second goal from close range after Croatia's defense failed to clear the ball. Saka then tapped in a fifth goal in the 68th minute, assisted by Kane. Rogers sealed the rout with a goal from an angle after controlling a pass from Bellingham.

The result surpassed England's previous highest score against Croatia, a 5-1 win in World Cup qualifying in 2009. With this victory, Tuchel's England team moved to six points from three games in the competition.

For Croatia, the heavy defeat followed a 4-1 loss to Spain earlier in the week. The team has now conceded 12 goals in their last three matches. Luka Modric was on the field for Croatia, but the team appeared frustrated by their performance.
