Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Honors Fallen AEW Star Pac

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has offered a heartfelt tribute to Benjamin Satterley, the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star known professionally as Pac, following his death on Sunday at the age of 40.

Satterley, who also wrestled in WWE as Adrian Neville and Neville, was among the first wrestlers to join AEW in 2019. He achieved multiple championship victories throughout his career in both promotions.

In an emotional Instagram video, Johnson expressed his condolences to Satterley's family and addressed the AEW locker room and owner Tony Khan. "As global as professional wrestling is... we’re still a very tight-knit unit and a tight-knit group because we all share the same DNA," Johnson stated. "And that is our love and our passion for the squared circle and to perform for audiences around the world. And we’re a little crazy, and that’s OK. But when we lose one of our own, it hurts. And when they’re young and so insanely talented, it really, it really f---ing hurts, especially when that life is robbed and you don’t get that opportunity to live a full life."

Johnson, who is a board member of TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE, concluded his message by wishing love and light to the Satterley family during their time of grief.

WWE also paid tribute to Neville with a graphic shared before "Monday Night Raw." AEW announced plans for a special tribute episode of "Dynamite" on Wednesday night in honor of Satterley.

Satterley was found deceased in Illinois on Sunday, hours after he had competed at AEW's All Out event.
