Draymond Green has reportedly made a persuasive pitch to LeBron James regarding a potential move to the Golden State Warriors in free agency. Sources indicate that recent conversations between the close friends, including during a vacation in Puerto Rico, have led James to give the idea of joining the Warriors "even stronger consideration than before."

During their time together, Green is said to have emphasized the storyline of James finishing his career by winning a championship alongside Stephen Curry. Beyond the potential for another title, Green also reportedly highlighted the prospect of James enjoying his final NBA seasons with the Warriors.

While it has not been confirmed if Curry and James spoke directly when James was in Puerto Rico with Green, it is not considered unlikely that Green and LeBron would have spoken with Steph during the trip. The Warriors have long been considered a contender to sign James in free agency, and Green's direct appeal appears to have bolstered their chances.

Adding to the intrigue, the Warriors recently hired Frank Vogel as an associate head coach under Steve Kerr. Vogel previously coached the Lakers from 2019 to 2022, leading them to an NBA championship in 2020, the only title James has won with Los Angeles. The addition of Vogel to the coaching staff could be another factor influencing James' decision.

James has yet to announce his free agency decision after leaving the Lakers. The anticipation is that his choice could come within the next week, with Green and the Warriors reportedly making their push at a pivotal moment.
