Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London recently became engaged to his girlfriend, Sofia Gabay, in a proposal that featured a unique, fast-food twist. The celebration of their engagement came shortly after London signed a four-year, $141 million contract extension with the Falcons.

London chose to incorporate Taco Bell into the proposal because it is Gabay's favorite fast-food chain, a detail she had mentioned to him previously. According to ESPN beat writer Mark Raimondi, Gabay once described a future proposal including a Taco Bell meal as her "dream."

To fulfill this wish, London procured Crunchwrap Supremes, a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, and various Taco Bell hot sauce packets. He then presented these items during a proposal at a desert ranch in Los Angeles. London remarked on Gabay's reaction, stating, "She was actually more stoked about the Taco Bell than the ring." He added, "It’s telling what type of woman I got. So, I was excited, though. She was, too."

Gabay and London met while attending the University of Southern California, where she earned a degree in cinema. Their relationship has been public, with Gabay notably engaging with fans after London's game-winning touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.
