Donovan Dijak Hopes for Reunion with Former Tag Team Partner Now in WWE

Major League Wrestling (MLW) star Donovan Dijak expressed his hope to reunite with former tag team partner Bishop Dyer, who now performs in WWE under the ring name Baron Corbin. Dijak and Dyer, as part of the stable The Skyscrapers, held the MLW tag team championships for 317 days under the Freebird Rule, which allowed any members of the trio to defend the belts. The reign concluded when Dyer departed MLW for WWE, and Dijak and his remaining partner, Josh Bishop, eventually lost the titles to The Good Brothers.

Dijak spoke fondly of his time teaming with Dyer, noting their shared success in various international locations including Mexico and Australia, as well as across the United States. "Tag teaming with him was unbelievable levels of fun," Dijak told OutKick Dropkick. "We got to do it in Mexico. We got to do it in Australia. We got to do it all over the United States... I just can't wait to tag with him again."

He acknowledged the unpredictable nature of professional wrestling, where opportunities to team with or compete against individuals can be fleeting. "I don't know when and where it's going to happen. I hope that it does happen because that's like kind of how pro wrestling works. You never know when your last time tagging with someone or your last time wrestling someone is going to be," Dijak stated.

The Skyscrapers, with Dijak and Josh Bishop as the current pairing, are set to face Killer Kross and Matt Riddle on an upcoming episode of "Fusion," which airs on Tubi.
