Dele Alli Mocks John Terry During Tottenham's Surprise Win at Stamford Bridge

Dele Alli visited Stamford Bridge to witness his former club Tottenham Hotspur secure a surprising 2-0 victory over Chelsea. During the match, the midfielder engaged his social media followers by humorously poking fun at Chelsea legend John Terry.

Alli, who represented Spurs from 2015 to 2022, shared updates on his Instagram story throughout the game. He posted a video capturing his laughter as he filmed Terry's reaction to Tottenham taking an early lead through an own goal by Chelsea's goalkeeper, Mike Penders.

The match saw further drama when Chelsea's Cole Palmer was sent off, and Tottenham sealed their win with a goal from Mathys Tel.

Alli continued his playful taunting by filming the scoreboard and the celebrations of his former team at Stamford Bridge. He later shared a photo of an empty seat next to him, captioning it "Empty seat here now?" indicating Terry had left the stadium.

... and then mocked the former Chelsea star who appeared to have left

To conclude his social media coverage, Alli posted a celebratory photo alongside Jermaine Jenas, another former Tottenham midfielder.

This victory marked a significant achievement for Spurs, securing only their second league win at Stamford Bridge since 1990. The result lifted them to 12th place in the league standings, marking back-to-back wins after a challenging start to their season.

Alli, currently without a club since leaving Como last year, has been increasingly active as a social media personality. He has played limited professional football since February 2023. Earlier in October, he gained attention for live-streaming a Twitch call with footballers including Jack Grealish, Ashley Cole, and Harry Kane.

During one such call, Alli tipped his former teammate Kane for the Ballon d'Or, prompting a concerned response from the Bayern Munich striker who inquired about Alli's current situation and encouraged him to "still working hard."

Alli finished off his story with a selfie alongside fellow ex-Spurs star Jermaine Jenas
