Deebo Samuel Expected to Miss Multiple Weeks with Hamstring Injury
The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver suffered the injury during Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury sustained during Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed the prognosis to reporters. Samuel was sidelined in the third quarter of the game after he fell to the ground while running toward the sideline, fumbling the ball in the process. He was attended to by training staff and left the field holding his right leg.
This injury marks another setback for the 49ers in Seattle, following linebacker Dre Greenlaw's ejection in the second quarter for headbutting Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV during a sideline altercation. Greenlaw's ejection occurred after a late hit on Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold.
Samuel rejoined the 49ers on a one-year deal this past offseason. In the previous season with the Washington Commanders, he recorded 72 receptions for 727 yards and five touchdowns.
With Samuel out of the lineup, Brandin Cooks, who scored a receiving touchdown in the fourth quarter against the Seahawks, is likely to see an increased workload.
