David Bednar Embodies Yankees' Needs Now and for the Future

Yankees closer David Bednar has concluded a superb season, demonstrating a varied repertoire and what is described as world-class courage. This attribute, along with his adaptable approach, remains consistent as Bednar heads towards free agency.

Bednar operates by the motto, “Whatever the team needs.” This philosophy is particularly critical during high-stakes situations, such as the playoffs, where the team's requirements intensify. "I think that’s what the playoffs are all about," Bednar stated. "You’re just trying to find a way to win every game. That’s what you work all the 162 for, to have this opportunity."
