Cole Palmer Commits Future to Chelsea with Contract Extension Until 2034

Cole Palmer has signed a new long-term contract with Chelsea, extending his commitment to the club until 2034. The agreement comes with improved terms, adding an additional year to his previous deal, which had seven years remaining.

Palmer expressed optimism about the club's trajectory, stating, "Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I'm delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy." He cited confidence from the ownership, sporting directors, and manager as key factors in his decision. "Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we can win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too," Palmer added.

Since joining Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder has made 138 appearances, scoring 58 goals and providing 34 assists. He played a significant role in Chelsea's triumphs in the FIFA Club World Cup and the Conference League in 2025.

Palmer has had a strong start to the current season, tallying four goals and two assists in seven matches. His new contract places him among players with the longest deals in the Premier League, alongside teammates Joao Pedro and Geovany Quenda, and Manchester City's Erling Haaland, all of whom are also contracted until 2034.
