Chet Holmgren to Miss at Least Two Months with Knee Injury

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without forward Chet Holmgren for an estimated eight to 10 weeks as he recovers from a right knee injury. Holmgren underwent a biological treatment Friday for a small tear in his patellar tendon after experiencing discomfort on Sunday.

The injury adds to a growing list of significant absences for the Thunder. Jalen Williams is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season after sustaining a broken left fibula and dislocated left ankle on Sunday. Cason Wallace also underwent surgery Friday in Los Angeles for a labral tear in his left shoulder and will be re-evaluated before the end of the regular season.

Meanwhile, the NBA landscape continues to be impacted by injuries. Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is reportedly expected to miss up to two months following an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee.
