TaylorMade Golf announced Friday it has signed Charlie Woods, son of golf legend Tiger Woods, to a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal. This agreement adds to the 17-year-old Woods' already significant projected NIL valuation.

Woods, a senior at The Benjamin School in Florida, is set to attend Florida State University for the 2027-28 academic year. Golfnilcentral.com estimates his NIL valuation at $3 million, placing him among the top-projected NIL figures for junior and college golfers.

"Having TaylorMade in my corner has been great," Charlie Woods said, according to Golf.com. "They’ve supported me a lot over the last year, and I’m really excited to officially be part of Team TaylorMade. So many great players have been a part of this team, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead."

Tiger Woods, a partner with TaylorMade since 2017, paved the way for his son's endorsement. The company shared a video on social media showing Charlie in a locker room donning a branded hat, with its X post reading, "Just getting started. Welcome to the squad, Charlie Woods."

While NIL deals are not widespread among junior golfers, with one Division I coach estimating only 25-30 players currently receive money, Charlie Woods' association with his famous father generates considerable attention. He is currently ranked No. 306 in the American Junior Golf Association standings. As of Saturday morning, he was tied for seventh place in the Junior Players Championship in Florida.

Woods has a history with the brand, having won the 2025 Team TaylorMade Invitational last May. TaylorMade also has a deal with Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, who is beginning her freshman year at Miami and has a projected $2.25 million NIL value.

"We build our roster of athletes around those who are driven by the game of golf and have an unmatched desire to compete at the highest level," said TaylorMade Golf CEO and president David Abeles, according to Golf.com. "Charlie epitomizes that every time he tees it up. The growth of his game over the last few years speaks for itself and we are humbled he chose TaylorMade to support him as he competes at the junior level and during his transition to collegiate golf."
