Manchester City striker Divin Mubama is reportedly a target for three Championship clubs: Middlesbrough, Derby County, and Preston North End, as the summer transfer window opens.

Mubama, 21, joined Manchester City from West Ham in 2024 for a reported fee of £2 million. He spent last season on loan at Stoke City, where he scored five goals before his campaign was cut short by an ankle ligament injury in January. The injury, sustained after a challenge from QPR's Jimmy Dunne, had initially raised fears of a fracture, but Mubama has since recovered and is fit again.

Mubama has reportedly held discussions with Derby County, though a decision on his future is yet to be made by him or Manchester City. Middlesbrough and Preston have also expressed interest, with the possibility of other clubs joining the race for his signature.

In separate transfer news, Scotland defender Jack Hendry has agreed to a new contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq. The former Celtic player's new deal is reportedly worth approximately £5 million per season. The transfer window remains open until September 1.
