Carlton Player Hospitalized Amid Reports of Recreational Drug Complications

A player for the Carlton Football Club has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering complications from alleged recreational drug use, according to media reports. Paramedics were called to a home in South Yarra on Saturday where a man in his 20s was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The Herald Sun reported that another player visited the hospital on Saturday night to offer support. On Sunday, a different Carlton player also attended the hospital, though this incident was reported to be unrelated to his teammate's situation.

An earlier report from 7News indicated that at least three players had been hospitalized. The exact number of players affected and the specific nature of the complications remain unconfirmed by the club.
