Caleb Williams Suffers Apparent Hamstring Injury, Carted Off Field

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was carted off the field Sunday during the team's game against the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field with what appeared to be a hamstring injury. The injury occurred in the second half as Williams attempted to escape a tackle from Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel.

Williams was seen grabbing at his right hamstring after the play and was helped off the field by two trainers. He was then taken to the Bears' medical tent before being transported to the locker room for further evaluation. The team has not officially confirmed the nature of the injury, but Williams is unlikely to return to the game.

Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent took over for the Bears after Williams' departure. The severity of Williams' injury remains unclear, with potential recovery times ranging from one to three weeks for a strain, or three to six months if the hamstring is torn.

Williams offered a thumbs-up to the home crowd as he was helped from the field. The game against the Vikings marked another significant outing for the Bears' young quarterback as the team continues its season.
