Buttler Reaches 15,000 T20 Runs as England Dominates Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's innings faltered after an opening stand of 56, with the team losing nine wickets for 89 runs. This performance highlighted a lack of confidence that the England team exploited.

"Tonight was a special performance," Brook said. "It was very clinical. They got off to a flyer, and the way we dragged it back was outstanding with the ball."

Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka acknowledged England's superiority, stating, "They were too good. We have to improve a lot, honestly, because we are not up to the mark right now."
