Bronson Reed made a dramatic return to WWE at Sunday Night's Main Event, re-emerging after an injury layoff to confront Oba Femi. Reed, who had been sidelined since suffering a biceps tear in February, appeared leaner and more aggressive.
During Femi's match against Bron Breakker, Reed intervened, delivering multiple chair shots to Femi. He then allowed Breakker to incapacitate Femi with a series of spears, leaving both Reed and Breakker standing tall.
The encounter between Breakker and Femi was positioned as a contest to determine the future face of WWE, with both wrestlers aiming to solidify their claims. Breakker entered the match having been out of action for several months due to injury, while Femi was riding a wave of momentum from a previous victory over Brock Lesnar.
Throughout their match, Breakker and Femi exchanged significant offense. Femi landed a powerful slap on the ring apron, and Breakker responded with a flying elbow drop. The momentum shifted multiple times, with Femi hitting a big boot and a series of European uppercuts, while Breakker absorbed a chokeslam and a German suplex. The action spilled outside the ring, where Breakker attempted a spear on Femi, but was met with another European uppercut. Austin Theory briefly emerged to distract Femi but was subsequently slammed through an announcer table.
Reed's intervention marked his first in-ring action since his February injury, and his actions immediately shifted the dynamic of the evening, positioning him and Breakker as the dominant figures at the event's conclusion.
