Brock Lesnar confronted Oba Femi on Monday Night RAW, leading to a Hell in a Cell match being set for SummerSlam. Lesnar interrupted Femi's celebration following his King of the Ring Tournament victory, delivering an F5 to "The Ruler." Femi then challenged Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam, which Lesnar accepted with the stipulation that it would be a Hell in a Cell bout.
This confrontation marks the latest chapter in the ongoing rivalry between Femi and Lesnar, which has spanned multiple events. Their feud began prior to WrestleMania 42 when Lesnar answered Femi's open challenge, resulting in a match Femi won. Lesnar's subsequent victory over Femi at Clash in Italy has set the stage for their rematch.
Despite the high stakes and the potential to put his title shot on hold, Femi assured Raw general manager Adam Pearce that the championship opportunity would still be available to him later. "The title is always going to be there. The championships are not going anywhere," Femi stated. "I’ll take that when I want it. … This needs to end and I will be the one to put an end to it."
SummerSlam is scheduled to take place on August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
