Brisbane Lions players were observed cheering on a young fan who ran onto the field at the Gabba following the team's victory over Essendon on Sunday night. The incident occurred after the Lions secured a 90-point win against the Bombers.

Video circulating on social media captured the moment the youngster evaded a security guard's attempts to apprehend him. In the background of the clip, Lions players could be seen and heard encouraging the boy as he maneuvered around the guard, who ultimately fell to the ground. Spectators also cheered the child on.

Social media users praised the child's agility, with comments such as "Love the way Brisbane cheered for the kid" and "The kid's putting in more effort than the Essendon team." One user humorously suggested, "I’ve seen enough; get him to Essendon."

Brisbane star Lachie Neale responded to a post of the video on Instagram with a cry-laughing emoji. The official Brisbane Lions account also commented, suggesting the child was, "worth a look" for the Lions' academy.
