Brexton Busch, the 11-year-old son of late NASCAR champion Kyle Busch, captured his first racing victory since his father's passing on Friday night at Port City Raceway in Oklahoma. He won the restricted micro sprint feature, a significant moment for the family following Kyle Busch's death on May 21 at age 41.

Samantha Busch, Brexton's mother, shared her emotions on Instagram, describing the win as bittersweet. "This is his first win since Kyle’s passing," she wrote. "There was a lot of emotions to say the very least." She expressed pride in Brexton's resilience and gratitude for the support the family has received.

Brexton also spoke about the difficulty of the past two months, stating on Instagram, "I’m missing my crew chief, my driver coach, my dad, the guy who I looked up to more [than] anyone." Kyle Busch was deeply involved in his son's racing career, serving as a mentor and supporter.

During the event, Brexton competed in his father's familiar green No. 18 car for the outlaw portion of the race. Following the victory, Brexton posted a video performing his father's signature bow, captioned, "For my Dad. 🏁"

Kyle Busch's final Instagram post, shared just days before his death, was a birthday tribute to Brexton, expressing pride in his son's accomplishments on and off the track. The post concluded with, "Keep doing what you’re doing and there is no limit to what you’ll accomplish! Love you buddy!"

Brexton returned to racing less than two weeks after his father's death, competing at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The motorsports community has shared tributes to Kyle Busch, remembering him as a fierce competitor and a devoted family man.
