Brewers Take Commanding 2-0 Lead Over Dodgers in NLCS; FanDuel Offers $250 Bonus
Milwaukee's bullpen has yet to allow a run in 9.2 innings, contributing to their series advantage as Game 3 approaches.
The Milwaukee Brewers have established a dominant 2-0 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, with their bullpen performance being a key factor in the early success. Ahead of Game 3, FanDuel is offering new users a promotional opportunity to bet on the series.
The Brewers secured victories in the first two games of the series, winning Game 1 by a narrow 2-1 margin and Game 2 with a 7-4 score. Milwaukee's relief pitchers have been exceptional, not allowing a single run through 9.2 innings pitched so far in the series. In Game 2, the Brewers' bullpen held the Dodgers hitless over their relief appearances. For the series, only two hits have been allowed by Milwaukee's relievers.
Conversely, the Dodgers' bullpen has struggled, striking out 10 batters against the Brewers' bullpen but allowing four earned runs in 5.1 innings during Game 2 on eight hits. While the Dodgers' bullpen demonstrated effectiveness in Game 1, allowing only one hit and striking out six over three innings, their performance in the second game was significantly less successful.
The upcoming Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, with a broadcast on FS1 set to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET. Regular season pitching statistics show comparable ERA and WHIP for both teams, with the Brewers registering a 3.51 ERA and 1.18 WHIP, and the Dodgers at 3.55 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. However, the Brewers' bullpen's flawless performance in the postseason thus far presents a significant challenge for the Dodgers' lineup.
