Boxer Lee Reeves has been hospitalized after suffering a knockout loss to Gary Cully on Saturday night at the 3Arena in Dublin. The 31-year-old was stopped in the 10th and final round of the all-Republic of Ireland bout.

Reeves was attended to by medical staff after being knocked down by a left hand from Cully and remained on the canvas for several moments. He received oxygen before being carried from the venue on a stretcher and transported to a hospital.

Queensberry promoter Frank Warren issued a statement via X, formerly Twitter, sharing his thoughts for Reeves and his family. "All our thoughts and prayers are with Lee Reeves and his family at this time as he remains in hospital," Warren wrote. "Everyone at Queensberry is thinking of him and we're in constant contact with his team regarding his condition as we hope for positive news."

Cully's victory secured him the BUI Celtic super-lightweight title. Despite his win, Cully expressed concern for his opponent, stating, "My prayers and thoughts are with Lee Reeves, hopefully he's okay." He also acknowledged Reeves' performance, noting that the underdog "really showed that he can operate at a higher level."
