The Milwaukee Brewers aim to extend their National League Championship Series lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers to 3-0 in Game 3. BetMGM is offering new users a promotion where they can receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets if their initial wager on the game does not win, by using the promo code FOXNEWS.
The Brewers have secured victories in the first two games of the series, overcoming early deficits in both. While the Dodgers took the lead in each of the first two contests, Milwaukee managed to rally for wins, employing a mix of home runs and small-ball tactics.
For Game 3, the Brewers are scheduled to start Robert Gasser on the mound. This will be Gasser's second appearance of the postseason. In his prior outing, he pitched four innings, allowing three hits, including one home run, and threw 56 pitches. He has not pitched in a full week.
Gasser has faced the Dodgers multiple times this season. In May, he pitched 4.1 innings, giving up four earned runs on four hits and four walks, with four strikeouts. In an August start against Los Angeles in LA, he went 6.1 innings, allowing three earned runs on eight hits, one walk, and seven strikeouts, with three home runs allowed to Dodgers hitters.
Los Angeles has not yet announced their starting pitcher for Game 3. However, reports indicate they plan to start former Cy Young winner Blake Snell. Snell's most recent start in the National League Division Series saw him pitch 3.2 innings, allowing one earned run on three hits and five walks, with five strikeouts. While command is typically not an issue for Snell, he will need to limit free passes to give the Dodgers a chance to win.
Snell has not faced the Brewers this season, but the team has a collective .172 batting average against him in their career history, with 11 hits in 64 at-bats.
The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET, and will be broadcast on FS1 from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
BetMGM odds for the game list the Brewers as +148 underdogs on the moneyline, with the Dodgers as -179 favorites. The total is set at 7.5 runs, with the over at -108 and the under at -112. The run line favors the Dodgers at -1.5 (+129), while the Brewers are +1.5 (-156).
Regular season hitting statistics show the Brewers with a .258 batting average, 832 runs, 1422 hits, 154 home runs, a .341 on-base percentage, and a .403 slugging percentage. The Dodgers posted a .257 batting average, 801 runs, 1399 hits, 204 home runs, a .338 on-base percentage, and a .424 slugging percentage.
