France has advanced to the quarterfinals after winning all five of its matches, with a scoring difference of 14-2. The team features attacking players Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, and Michael Olise. Morocco secured its spot by finishing second in its group, then eliminating the Netherlands in a penalty shootout and defeating Canada 3-0 in the Round of 16. The last time France and Morocco met in the World Cup was in the 2022 semifinals, where France won 2-0.
