Ben Simmons Suffers Suspected Season-Ending Achilles Injury
The Sacramento Kings forward's basketball career is in jeopardy following a practice injury.

Sacramento Kings forward Ben Simmons is believed to have torn his Achilles tendon during a practice on Sunday, according to multiple reports. The injury is reportedly severe enough to end his season.
This marks the third season-ending Achilles tendon tear in the NBA this month. Philadelphia's Ariel Hukporti and Oklahoma City's Otega Oweh have also suffered similar injuries.
For Simmons, this injury could potentially signal the end of his NBA career. He had attempted a return to the league after sitting out the entire 2025-26 season. Simmons last played for the Los Angeles Clippers, joining them midway through the 2024-25 season. The Clippers did not offer him a contract to remain with the team, making him a free agent. He remained unsigned for the subsequent season.
