Leicester City defender Ben Nelson has informed the club of his wish to depart, but a £10 million asking price is currently deterring potential buyers. Both Torino and Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly had offers rejected for the 22-year-old left-sided center-back, who has one year remaining on his contract.
Manchester United and West Ham United have also registered their interest in Nelson. The 6-foot-5-inch defender is capable of playing at left-back as well as center-back. Nelson has earned six caps for England at the Under-20 level and made 27 appearances for Leicester last season, scoring one goal.
The current transfer window remains open until September 1, a period typically marked by significant player movement as clubs aim to strengthen their squads for the upcoming season.
