Arteta Concerned Over Saka's Injury After Arsenal's Draw with Bayern Munich

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted his concern over an injury to winger Bukayo Saka, who was forced off during the team's 2-2 Champions League draw with Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. The England international left the pitch with a thigh issue just ten minutes into the match at the Allianz Arena.

"It doesn't look good at all but we will have to wait and see," Arteta stated after the game. "They [the medical staff] are a bit concerned. A player who has to come off with a really sharp pain is never good news."

Saka was replaced by Eberechi Eze, who opened the scoring for Arsenal in the first half. However, Bayern Munich fought back, with Harry Kane instrumental in their comeback. Kane assisted Alphonso Davies for the equalizer and later scored a penalty in the second half to put the German side ahead.

Declan Rice secured an 82nd-minute equalizer for Arsenal, ensuring the team returned home with a point. Reflecting on Kane's performance, Arteta commented, "The pass he made for the first goal, that's the level." Rice also praised his England teammate, calling him the "clear winner" for the Ballon d'Or based on his remarkable year and statistics.

Kane has now scored 58 Champions League goals and is nearing Cristiano Ronaldo's record for scoring in consecutive Champions League matches. Mikel Arteta has claimed that Bukayo Saka's thigh problem 'does not look good'
