Arsenal plans to appeal the red card issued to 16-year-old winger Max Dowman during the team's Carabao Cup defeat against Fleetwood Town on Tuesday.
This marks the first senior career sending-off for Dowman, who has been a part of Arsenal's academy setup. The club's decision to appeal suggests they believe the red card was unwarranted or a misapplication of the rules.
Further details regarding the incident and the grounds for Arsenal's appeal are expected as the process unfolds. The outcome of the appeal could impact Dowman's availability for future matches.
