Arsenal and Aston Villa are reportedly close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of defender Ezri Konsa.
Discussions between the two Premier League clubs are ongoing as they work to finalize a compromise on the transfer fee. Earlier reports indicated that Arsenal had increased their offer to £40 million plus add-ons, while Villa has been seeking a fee closer to £60 million for the England center-back.
As an alternative option, Arsenal had also inquired about Jarell Quansah, a defender from Bayer Leverkusen.
