Archie Manning, the Pro Football Hall of Famer and father of quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning, has voiced his frustration regarding the intense media attention and expectations placed on his grandson, Arch Manning.

Arch Manning, a highly touted prospect, joined the Texas Longhorns football team with considerable fanfare. However, his grandfather believes the pre-season hype unfairly set the bar for his performance.

"People crowned him before he ever played a game," Archie Manning said, according to Fox News. "That's not fair to him. He's a great kid, he's a hard worker, he's a good player, but he's still having to learn and grow."

The veteran quarterback, who played for the New Orleans Saints for most of his NFL career, expressed his disappointment in the unrealistic expectations that have surrounded his grandson's early college career. He emphasized that Arch is still developing as a player and navigating the pressures of collegiate athletics.
