Ange Postecoglou, formerly the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has been appointed as the new head coach of Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. The Riyadh-based club announced the signing, filling the vacancy left by Jorge Jesus at the end of the previous campaign.

Postecoglou, who is 60 years old and of Greek-Australian descent, has signed a two-year contract with Al-Nassr. The club is captained by Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. Al-Nassr secured their first Saudi Pro League title in May.

Postecoglou's most recent managerial role in England was with Nottingham Forest, where he was dismissed after 39 days in charge last October. Prior to that, he achieved significant success with Celtic, winning back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles, and guided Spurs to victory in the Europa League in 2025. During the recent World Cup, he worked as a pundit for ITV.
