Amazing Red Inducted Into TNA Hall of Fame, Wins X Division Championship

Amazing Red achieved a significant career milestone on Saturday night, being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame and subsequently winning the TNA X Division Championship at the Bound for Glory event. He becomes the latest inductee into the Hall of Fame, joining a class that includes Konnan and ODB.

Following his induction speech, Red announced his intention to compete in the scheduled seven-man X Division Championship scramble match. The contest, which was initially set for six participants, devolved into a chaotic brawl with multiple wrestlers vying for the vacant title. Leon Slater had previously vacated the championship by cashing in "Option C" for a shot at the TNA World Championship.

Throughout the match, various competitors including Rich Swann, BDE, and KC Navarro made strong bids for the championship. Navarro, in particular, appeared close to victory after executing a sequence of his signature moves on Fabian Aichner, but his pin attempt was interrupted by Ryan Nemeth pulling the referee out of the ring. Navarro then engaged with Nemeth outside the ring before turning his attention back to Red.

In the closing moments, Amazing Red secured the victory by hitting a Spanish Fly followed by the Code Red on Navarro, earning his fourth TNA X Division Championship. This marks his first reign with the title since September 2010, when he won it at a live event before losing it just days later. His current reign places him eighth all-time in terms of championship wins, surpassing wrestlers like Samoa Joe, Low Ki, and Frankie Kazarian, who have held the title five times each.
